August 26 – Arrival Day
Welcome to France! Upon arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), we’ll transfer to our luxurious countryside retreat, the 5-star Auberge du Jeu Paume, located just 30 minutes north of the airport. Settle in and unwind before gathering for a formal welcome dinner at La Table du Connétable, the hotel’s renowned fine-dining restaurant.
August 27 – Day 1
Our journey begins with a visit to the evocative ruins of Château de Thiers-sur-Thève, where 11 Templars were imprisoned from September 1310 to October 1311.
Returning to Chantilly, we’ll explore the Domaine de Chantilly, home to museums rich in history and art, followed by lunch on the estate. The afternoon is yours to relax or explore at leisure before we regroup for a delightful dinner at Le Garden d’Hiver Restaurant.
August 28 – Day 2
After breakfast, we depart our hotel at 9:30 AM and set off for Reims.
Our first stop is Restaurant Gabrielle Toit Terrasse, where we’ll enjoy lunch with stunning views overlooking Reims Cathedral—one of the cathedrals aligned with the Virgo constellation. Afterward, we’ll explore the cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace before checking into our next accommodation: Hostellerie Briqueterie & Spa.
Tonight, we indulge in a gourmet experience at the restaurant on-site.
August 29 – Day 3
Today, we visit the Basilica of Saint-Remi, where a life-sized statue of a pregnant Magdalene awaits—her posture mirroring the Virgo constellation while also unveiling a Masonic secret.
A highlight of the day is a champagne lunch at Maison Ruinart, followed by a guided tour of its historic cellars. We’ll return to our château for a relaxed evening and a casual late dinner.
August 30 – Day 4
We check out and drive an hour to Laon Cathedral, another landmark in the Virgo constellation. Nearby, we’ll visit a Templar church, rumored to have tunnels beneath it, before exploring a local museum.
Next, we head to Amiens Cathedral, famed for its alleged relics of John the Baptist and a pentagram rose window, reinforcing its connection to our Virgo pilgrimage.
By evening, we arrive in Rouen, a city steeped in medieval history and the site of Joan of Arc’s execution. Our home for the next two nights is the charming Hôtel de Bourgtheroulde, where we’ll enjoy dinner.
August 31 – Day 5
This morning, we visit the Joan of Arc Museum, followed by Rouen Cathedral, a key stop on our Virgo pilgrimage. We’ll then walk to Place du Vieux-Marché, where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake—now marked by a church in her honor.
After lunch, the rest of the day is yours to explore Rouen, unwind, or enjoy the hotel’s spa.
September 1 – Day 6
Departing Rouen, we journey into Normandy, making a special stop in the Templar village of Les Andelys. Here, we’ll visit the Musée Nicolas Poussin and Collégiale Notre-Dame, built in 1225 on the foundations of a Templar church.
Next, we explore the medieval Château Gaillard, a fortress built by Richard the Lionheart with deep crusader ties.
After lunch at O’Famili, we continue to Bayeux, where we check into the elegant Villa Lara for two nights. Dinner in town.
September 2 – Day 7
We begin our day with a visit to Tumulus de Colombiers-sur-Seulles, an ancient tomb, followed by the D-Day Museum on Normandy Beach.
After lunch, we explore the famous Bayeux Tapestry, then visit Bayeux Cathedral, where a striking sculpture of Mary Magdalene awaits. Dinner in town.
September 4 – Day 9
We depart for Carnac, stopping at Tumulus Saint-Michel and the Alignements de Kerbourgnec—mystical sites with thousands of standing stones.
For the next three nights, we stay at Le Celtique Hôtel, where we’ll enjoy dinner upon arrival.
September 5 – Day 10
A short boat ride takes us to Gavrinis, an ancient cairn adorned with sacred carvings of the goddess and solstice alignments.
Later, we visit the Grand Menhir Brisé (Broken Menhir) and an intriguing passage tomb before returning to our hotel. Dinner at Le Grissini, a nearby Italian favorite.
September 6 – Day 11
Today, we venture to Quiberon to visit the Allée Couverte du Gergerit, a temple site believed to be associated with birth and womanhood.
After lunch, we explore the Alignements de Kermario, an impressive collection of standing stones. Dinner tonight is at Le Cavok, a delightful French restaurant.
September 7 – Day 12
At 8:30 AM, we check out and drive to Chartres Cathedral, an iconic Gothic masterpiece built on an ancient Druid site dedicated to the goddess.
After lunch, we continue to Évreux Cathedral, another stop on our Virgo pilgrimage. By evening, we arrive in Paris, where we check into Maison Souquet, a luxurious boutique hotel housed in a former Belle Époque brothel. Dinner at the hotel.

September 8 – Day 13
Our Parisian adventure begins at Église de la Madeleine, a neoclassical church dedicated to Mary Magdalene—once a 13th-century shrine before its transformation under Louis XV and Napoleon.
We then explore Temple Square, the former headquarters of the Knights Templar, and visit the gardens where the Paris Temple once stood.
The final cathedral of our Virgo journey is Notre Dame de Paris, a masterpiece of sacred architecture.
We’ll close our pilgrimage with a farewell dinner at the Eiffel Tower, a perfect ending to an unforgettable journey.
