Next, we’ll explore the majestic Linlithgow Palace, renowned for its “Wentworth Prison” scenes in Outlander and as the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. Our journey culminates at Glencorse House at 3 PM, where we’ll step into the historic “Old Kirk” and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Jamie and Claire’s wedding ceremony. Continuing our journey, we’ll uncover the beauty and history of Drummond Castle Gardens with a guided tour, once a stronghold of Jacobite supporters. These breathtaking gardens doubled as the Gardens of Versailles in Outlander’s second season. Our accommodations await at Dunkeld House Hotel, where the actors stayed during filming in the area. A delightful dinner at the hotel rounds off our day.
