July 6: Day 1 | Arrival Day

Day 1 begins with our arrival at the charming Marine North Berwick Hotel. We’ll kick off the tour with a warm welcome dinner, bringing everyone together as we set the stage for the adventure ahead. Guests are encouraged to take time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the hotel’s luxurious spa amenities at their own pace. It’s a serene and inviting way to begin our journey, leaving everyone rested and ready for the experiences to come.

July 7: Day 2 | Castles, Flight & Historic Charm

On Day 2 we’ll set off at 9:30 am for a day rich in history and beauty. Our first stop is the picturesque Preston Mill, instantly recognizable as Lallybroch’s mill. From there, we’ll dive into aviation history at the National Museum of Flight. A relaxing lunch awaits in the quaint town of Haddington before we explore the elegance of Lennoxlove House. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the dramatic Tantallon Castle, a 14th-century Douglas stronghold perched above the sea. We’ll wrap up the day with a delicious dinner at Zitto Italian Winebar & Trattoria.

July 8: Day 3 | Grand Estates, Cloisters & Culinary Delights

On Day 3, we check out of our hotel at 9 am and embark on a journey rich with historical and cultural highlights. We’ll visit Gosford House, famed for its depiction as Helwater in season 3, followed by a leisurely lunch featuring a delightful Sassenach cocktail. In Glasgow, we’ll explore the University of Glasgow‘s picturesque cloisters, reminiscent of Harvard in the series, before delving into the fascinating exhibits at the Hunterian Museum. Our day concludes with a check-in at Hotel du Vin, where we’ll indulge in a Chef’s tasting menu paired with exquisite wine pairings.

July 9: Day 4 | Outlander Locations & Glasgow Gems

On Day 4, we’ll set our sights on the iconic Pollok Country Park, a familiar backdrop for scenes throughout Outlander. Notable for pivotal moments like Jamie and Fergus’s journey to Le Havre in Season 2, and the dramatic duel between Jamie and Black Jack Randall in France. After lunch, we’ll explore Glasgow Cathedral, recognized as the hospital in Paris where Claire volunteered and gave birth to Faith in Season 2. A pause at St. Andrew’s Square offers a glimpse into the theatrical ambiance of Season 4, before we indulge in a pint at The Grove, a pub frequented by Claire, Brianna, and Roger. Our day concludes with dinner at Six By Nico.

July 10: Day 5 | Stones, Storytelling & the Scottish Highlands

Day 5 begins with a 9 am check-out, leading us to the mystical “Craigh Na Dun” film location—an ancient Iron Age ringfort steeped in history and lore. Our journey continues to the enchanting Highland Folk Museum, a living history site featured in Season 1 of Outlander during the episode “Rent.” As dusk approaches, we make our way to Inverness, where the picturesque Glen Mhor Hotel awaits, nestled along the tranquil banks of the River Ness. Here, we’ll relish a delightful dinner, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

July 11: Day 6 | Clans, Cairns & Time to Wander

On Day 6, our first stop is Castle Leod, ancestral home of Clan Mackenzie and the inspirational setting for Castle Leoch in Outlander. Continuing our exploration of Clan Fraser’s heritage, we’ll venture to the ancient Beauly Priory, a 13th-century site where many Frasers have found their final resting place. An optional visit to Culloden and Clava Cairns offers deeper insight into Scotland’s rich past. Guests are also welcome to explore the charming city of Inverness or unwind with the hotel’s amenities. Dinner is open to individual preferences.

July 12: Day 7 | Whisky, Castles & Creative Encounters

On Day 7, our adventures begin at the Benriach Distillery for a memorable whisky tasting experience, followed by a delicious lunch. Next, we visit Braemar Castle, once home to the chiefs of Clan Farquharson and a pivotal site in Scottish history, notably tied to the start of the 1715 rising. Our accommodations for the night await at The Fife Arms, a cherished retreat once a royal hunting lodge for Queen Victoria and now frequented by Sam Heughan. As the evening unfolds, we’ll enjoy an enlightening presentation by Outlander textile artist Helen Gallogly, who will share behind-the-scenes insights from her work on the show—followed by an intimate dinner in her company.

July 13: Day 8 | Royal Grounds & Ancient Stones

Day 8 begins with a visit to the illustrious Balmoral Castle, the beloved Scottish residence of the royal family. Steeped in history, this iconic estate held a special place in Queen Elizabeth’s heart, where she spent much of her time and passed away in 2023. Our journey then takes a mystical turn as we explore the enigmatic Tomnaverie Stone Circle, evoking the spirit of Craigh Na Dun and offering a glimpse into ancient Scottish spirituality. After a day filled with royal and mystical encounters, we’ll enjoy a meet & greet, photoshoot, dinner, and Q&A with a special Outlander guest (TBA)!

July 14: Day 9 | Sacred Sites, Scenic Sips & Screen Legends

On Day 9, we’ll begin at the Cathedral of St. Andrews, followed by a visit to the mystical Dunino Den, known for its Celtic carvings and Pagan lore. In Edinburgh, we’ll enjoy Afternoon Tea at the elegant Signet Library, which doubled as the Governor’s mansion in Jamaica in Season 3. A quick stop at Bakehouse Close—Jamie’s print shop location—adds to the Outlander charm. We’ll dine at The Kitchin Restaurant, featured in Men in Kilts, before settling in for the night at Hopetoun House, famed as the Duke of Sandringham’s estate and a key filming location in the series.

July 15: Day 10 | Lallybroch, Legends & Lasting Memories

On our final day, we begin at the iconic Rosslyn Chapel, famed from The Da Vinci Code, followed by a scenic walk to the Gunpowder Mill, where Claire and Jamie shared a touching moment in Season 1. Next, we explore Craigmillar Castle, which stood in as Ardsmuir Prison, before arriving at Midhope Castle—beloved as Lallybroch. There, we’ll be serenaded by Gillebride MacMillan, the bard from Castle Leoch, while sipping Colum’s Rhenish. We end our adventure with a special farewell dinner at Hopetoun House, one of the most iconic Outlander filming locations.

July 16: Day 11 | Departure Day – Until We Meet Again

As our unforgettable journey comes to a close, we bid a fond farewell to new friends and the magical landscapes that brought Outlander to life.
