Spain and Portugal: A Templar Quest | Itinerary
Day 1: June 1 – Arrival in Barcelona
- Arrive in Barcelona and settle into the luxurious Hotel Casa Fuster.
- Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring a Michelin Star tasting menu with optional drink pairings.
Day 2: June 2 – Discover Barcelona
- Explore the historic Barcelona Cathedral and the iconic Sagrada Familia Basilica.
- Wander through the Born Neighborhood and visit the “Amoun Templar Gate” at the Mother of God of Victory Templar Church in the old Templar district.
- Conclude the day with a Flamenco dinner experience at Tablao de Carmen at 6 pm.
Day 3: June 3 – Coastal Castles
- Journey along the coast to visit the Templar castles of Miravet and Peñíscola.
- Check-in at Peñíscola Plaza Suites and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: June 4 – Beach Day

Day 5: June 5 – Valencia’s Treasures
- Travel to Valencia, where you’ll visit St. Nicholas Cathedral, Torre del Micalet, and the Valencia Cathedral, home to the purported Holy Grail.
- Spend two nights at the elegant Hotel Las Arenas.
Day 6: June 6 – Valencia Exploration
- Savor a tapas and wine tasting experience.
- Enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring Valencia at your own pace.
Day 7: June 7 – Journey to Soria
- Embark on a scenic drive to Soria, stopping in Zaragoza for lunch.
- Visit the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar and the Cathedral of the Savior of Zaragoza, where all Aragonese kings were crowned.
- Arrive in Soria for dinner and an overnight stay at Convento San Francisco Hotel & Spa.
Day 8: June 8 – Templar Legacy and Wine in Tomar
- Travel an hour to the Hermitage of Saint Bartholomew, a stunning Templar chapel with ancient Mother Goddess worship connections.
- Visit a local winery for a vineyard tour, winemaking insights, and lunch.
- Continue to Tomar for a two-night stay at Vila Galé, with dinner at the hotel.
Day 9: June 9 – Tomar’s Templar Sites
- Explore Tomar Castle, the Convent of Christ, and the Church of Santa Maria de Olival, all steeped in Templar history.
- Enjoy dinner at Taverna Antiqua, a medieval-themed tavern.
Day 10: June 10 – Almourol Castle and Lisbon
- Check out and drive to Almourol Castle, a Templar stronghold.
- Visit the ancient Almendres Cromlech stone circle.
- Continue to Lisbon, with stops at Belem Tower and the National Museum of Archaeology.
- Check-in for two nights at Palacio Ludovice, the 18th-century home of architect João Federico Ludovice.
Day 11: June 11 – Lisbon’s Mystical Sights
- Visit the mystical Initiation Well and explore the enchanting Quinta da Regaleira.
- Conclude the day with dinner at the hotel.
Day 12: June 12 – Departure
- A driver will escort everyone to the airport for their departure.
