Our day concludes with a check-in at Hotel du Vin, where we’ll indulge in a Chef’s tasting menu paired with exquisite wine pairings.

Day 4

On Day 4 we’ll set our sights on the iconic Pollok Country Park, a familiar backdrop to numerous scenes throughout Outlander. Notable for its portrayal of pivotal moments such as Jamie and Fergus’s journey to Le Havre in season 2 and the dramatic duel between Jamie and Black Jack Randall in France. After lunch, we’ll explore Glasgow Cathedral, recognized as the hospital in Paris where Claire volunteered and gave birth to Faith in season 2. A pause at St. Andrew’s Square offers a glimpse into the theatrical ambiance of season 4, before we indulge in a pint at “The Grove,” a pub frequented by Claire, Brianna, and Roger. Our day concludes with dinner at Six By Nico.

Day 5

Day 5 commences with a 9 am check-out, leading us to the mystical “Craigh Na Dun” film location, an ancient iron age ringfort steeped in history. Our journey continues to the enchanting Highland Folk Museum, a living testament to the past, immortalized in season 1 of Outlander during the episode “Rent.” As dusk approaches, we make our way to Inverness, where the picturesque Glen Mhor Hotel awaits, nestled along the tranquil banks of the River Ness. Here, we’ll relish in a delightful dinner, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

Day 6

On Day 6 our first stop is Castle Leod, ancestral home of Clan Mackenzie and the inspirational setting for Castle Leoch in Outlander. Continuing our exploration of Clan Fraser’s heritage, we’ll venture to the ancient Beauly Priory, a 13th-century site where many Frasers have found their final resting place. An optional visit to Culloden and Clava Cairns offers further insight into Scotland’s rich past. Guests can also explore the charming city of Inverness or indulge in the amenities of the hotel. Our accommodations for the evening await at The Fife Arms, a cherished retreat frequented by Sam Heughan and steeped in royal history as Queen Victoria’s former hunting lodge. As the day draws to a close, we’re treated to an enlightening presentation by Outlander textile artist Helen Gallogly, sharing her insights from working on the show, followed by an intimate dinner in her company.

Day 8

Day 8 commences with the illustrious Balmoral Castle, the cherished Scottish residence of the royal family. Steeped in history, this estate held a special place in Queen Elizabeth’s heart, as she spent significant time here and passed away within its walls in 2023. Our journey then takes a mystical turn as we explore the enigmatic Tomnaverie Stone Circle, evoking echoes of Craigh Na Dun and offering a glimpse into ancient Scottish spirituality. After a day filled with royal encounters, we’ll enjoy a meet & greet, photoshoot, dinner, and Q&A with a special Outlander guest TBA!

A brief detour to the location of Jamie’s print shop at Bakehouse Close offers a glimpse into the series’ iconic scenes. We’ll have dinner at The Kitchin Restaurant, as featured in Men in Kilts, before retiring to Dalhousie Castle. Fun fact: Jamie suggested naming their child after “Dalhousie” in season two’s “La Dame Blanche” episode.
